As Mother’s Day approaches I thought it would be fun to share a few things this mom currently cannot live without:

New Baby: The First Years Gumdrop Pacifiers paci These have a hole in the middle which is great for baby’s suction and will come in handy once teething begins. It has a small round nipple so she is not choking.

Rockabye Baby Station on Pandora radio- Absolutely, YES! From Journey to Outkast, Adele and Aerosmith it is amazing lullabies you and your baby can enjoy!

Seventh Generation Wee Generation Shampoo and Wash- A little goes a long way, but this is natural, gentle, hypoallergenic and made with extra virgin olive oil. The scent is a light citrus and I am very pleased from head to toe! I received this courtesy of Smiley360, another big like!

For my 3 year old girl- Circo Jeggings from Target- pants

circo She is just like me and we don’t always want to wear jeans but don’t want to dress down either… well these very comfortable jeggings are super comfortable, cute, and convenient for those just getting into the pottying habit!

For the Mama- Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure color in Wedding Glitter- Just by polishing my nails makes me feel so good after a long day with the kiddos and I have been getting more and more into Sally’s lines, but this color is so classy looking you could wear it all year long!

Oprah’s Favorite Things w/a Twist

I would think that many, if not all of you, have heard of Oprah’s Favorite Things episode that used to air on her talk show. Well she is doing it on her network OWN this year on Sunday Nov 18th 9/8c time! If you have not picked up the newest Oprah magazine for December 2012 I would highly recommend to do so. In this edition she highlights the 95 favorite things, which I presume will be spotlighted on her show. From Julep nail polish, to Coach puffy coats, all the way to a Bose Videowave II 46-inch high def TV retailing for 4,999 dollars or a simple corkcicle to keep your wine cold she explains her favorite things…. not only that on page 28 of the magazine it shows symbols to look for throughout the magazine. These symbols will have codes and from 11/26 thru 12/7 if you enter the codes you could win one of these 95 amazing presents! Sounds good to me!

How to Reuse Glade Candles

So I am going into hibernating mode, typically starts this time of year for me and goes thru the winter! I like to find projects around the house and I try to shop online or more locally than maybe I do during spring and summer! Which this year doesn’t sound like a bad idea since gas is super high and if I want to go to Target or Walmart it’s at least 20 minutes away. Another good reason to cut back and to reuse is that we are expecting another little one in April, so being a tad more conservative isn’t a bad idea! Anyways, I am reusing my Glade candle holders and in this quick tutorial i will show you how to do that:

There are several high value Stayfree coupons out there! There is currently a deal at Target if you buy 3 select items you get a 5 dollar gift card. Now, unfortunately many Stayfree coupons state you can only use one of the same per person so you may have some difficulty. This is the scenario I came up with:

I bought 3 18ct Stayfrees@ 3.09=9.27 (Mind you there were NO signs on any of the Stayfree products of a sale)

used the following coupons:
1.00 off when you play a Stayfree Game
2.00 off from 7/22 Smart Source
2.00 off from 8/26 Smart Source

I then paired them with 3 1.00 Target Store Coupons found in the 8/26 Smart Source

So I had 8.00 in coupons, paid 1.27 out of pocket and got back a 5 dollar gift card… making it a 3.73 moneymaker for me!!
