This is going to be a review of a post I made over a year ago! But Target has remained on my list of top stores so here is something you may not know…
Did you know Target doubles coupons? As long as one is a Target coupon and one is manufacturer coupon. You can find some in magazines, the weekly Sunday inserts but mostly on their website.
Do you know how Target does their markdowns?
WEEKLY:
Monday: Electronics, Kids clothing and stationary (Cards, gift wrapping paper, etc.).
Tuesday: Domestics, women’s clothing, pets and Market (food items,etc).
Wednesday: men’s clothing, toys, lawn & garden, health and beauty items.
Thursday: House wares, lingerie, sporting goods, shoes, music, DVDs, books and luggage.
Friday: Auto, cosmetics, hardware, and jewelry.
HOLIDAY:
All holidays except Christmas follow the 3-3-2 rule:
The first 3 days after the holiday are 50% off.
The next 3 days are 75% off.
The next 2 days are 90%.
After that it goes to salvage.
Valentines 3-3-2
Easter 3-3-2
Fourth of July 3-3-2
July 5 = 50% off
July 8 = 75% off
July 10 = 90% off
Halloween
Nov 1st = 50% off
Nov 4th = 75% off
Nov 7th = 90% off

Is their store brand Up and Up more inexpensive then the name brands? Not always make sure to follow your coupons and apply them to the store sales. You would be quite surprised that store brands are not always the cheaper way to go…
FYI- January and July/August they have toy clearance. Right now some toys are between 30 and 70 percent off!
